Are you a Spring Stitcher?
I think a lot of stitchers work on their pumpkins & ornaments year round…but there seems to be a point in the year – right about now – when we put the snowmen stitches aside for something fresh! Birds, bees (we’re talking stitching remember), blooms…soft pastels or bright take your pick!
I was organizing the HOD model closet & nabbed a few items to give my upstairs decor a little refresh!
(side note here: we’ve had an incredibly dry winter here in NW IA & ever since I put the snowmen away…you guessed it – rain, sleet & snow!) We are grateful for any moisture since we’ve spent quit a few days under red flag warnings for field fires (thank you firemen for protecting us!)
Need some Spring Stitch ideas – discover a new-to-you design or maybe remember one that’s in your stash (time to start on it)!
The Hello Hoop design from the #chalktalk series – Let’s Talk Spring
Came the Spring – from the House on a Hill series (wool included for finishing) – side panel quote is ‘Came the Spring in all its Splendor’ – this mattress finish pincushion is perfect for the JABC Pin-Mini set.
Present Blessings – I chose this sweet sentiment because of its soft shades – hand dyed buttons are included (chart only (no buttons) is also available as a PDF)
Bloom from the Chalk Full series – I love the daisies & red ball jar from this fun series – based on the chalk artwork of Priscilla Blain (this entire series is now available as a download on the website)
Oh Bee Hive – say it in your best Austin Powers voice!! I do every time! Woolfelt Hexies are included with this sweet pillow!
Oh those sweet Penny Pillows – the flowers of Spring embody Harmony & Prosperity in Garden Duet – the penny’s are included – I love switching out these seasonal smalls!
Thank you for taking this Spring Stitching picture walk with me.
