FARM FRESH

It really seems as if everyone has gone farm crazy…& who knows how it all started…sort of a chicken & egg type of thing – (see what I did there?)

As I was finishing my Fresh Eggs Farm for the front cover of this first Chalk on the Farm chart, I grabbed a few JABC pins to add some much needed embellishment – I’m not always into the extra sparkly bits…texture, layers & good design are more my speed. I texted a photo to Cecile & Rachel to let them know that I had used some of their pins, pins I had primarily chosen for their size & color. Cecile responded ‘looks like you need a chicken’…I couldn’t have agreed more.

Somewhere in the market planning frenzy, the chicken pins got set aside in the coop until literally a week before we were to leave for Nashville. I received a text with a photo of what was to be jpm430: Farm Fresh – ready soon, but I was told in the accompanying message, not in time for Nashville…

Let me tell you, in the 5 minute space between seeing the pins & being told that they wouldn’t be ready, I had hatched a sketch and formulated a plan…

All I can say is thank goodness for friends! Once I had explained that I could make this little chart & model happen in just a few days, JABC committed to getting the initial run on Farm Fresh Pin-Mini’s baked, drilled, pinned & packaged! What an awesome way to debut their new Pin-Mini’s at market!
