Wear It Well – Finishing Tutorial
Thank you for purchasing ‘Wear It Well’ – part of the Pins & Needles series. I like my Pincushions & Needlebooks to be functional, beautiful & not too terribly difficult to assemble.
Wear It Well was originally released as a class piece. I designed it with my dear friend Lois (Lady Dot Creates) in mind. We are each represented in the sampler pincushion – the small sparrow (wearing a crown no less) with a beak full of rick rack for Lois & busy hands stitching away the hours for me. Our class theme was crowns because…everyone looks good in a crown 😉
As a Bonus, I have included a page of Floss Drops for you. I originally made them as tags for the class participants. Many of you like to create Drops for your project so I thought it would be fun to include them.

A few words about this tutorial:
- You will need to gather your usual stitching & finishing supplies: scissor, ruler, cutting mat, double sided tape, etc.
- You will also need to have cotton fabric, woolfelt, hand dyed rick rack from Lady Dot Creates, bakers twine & a magnet. Details on the chart.
PLEASE do not share this link and/or tutorial. I made it available as a benefit to stitchers who purchase the chart. I appreciate your cooperation with this.
I look forward to seeing your finishes – don’t forget to #handsondesign
Enjoy the Stitch
