A Banner Year Finishing Tutorial
Thank you for purchasing ‘A Banner Year’ charts! I’m calling this the ‘occasional series’ – when I am inspired with something that will fit a holiday… a season… or even the everyday – I will set about to design a new one!
I think you should be able to have a banner on display all year long!
The templates are made to fit a design stitched on 32ct or 16ct. You will need to make adjustments for 14/28 count (or any other count).
Take care if you choose to stitch this design on evenweave. You will be cutting it close to the triangle points & evenweave tends to unravel a bit more easily.

A few words about this tutorial:
- You will need to gather your usual stitching & finishing supplies: scissor, ruler, cutting mat, lacing thread, double sided tape, etc.
- You will also need to have batting, cotton fabric, ribbons (about 3/8″ wide), hand dyed rick rack from Lady Dot Creates.
PLEASE do not share this link and/or tutorial. I made it available as a benefit to stitchers who purchase the chart. I appreciate you cooperation with this.
I look forward to seeing your finishes – don’t forget to #handsondesign
Enjoy the Stitch
